Triton introduced the 97xx line of ATMs earlier this year as the replacement for the maturing 96xx line. At our Distributor Conference earlier this year we stated that we would continue to build the 96XX until we see a drop in demand. Over the months since the conference, sales for the 96xx line have continued to shift over to the 97xx as more and more Distributors discovered the benefits of selling the 97xx over the 96xx.

As sales have shifted over to the 97xx line, the costs associated with maintaining the 96xx line have grown to the point where it is necessary for Triton to discontinue this model line for all countries that currently purchase 96XX.

The timeline for end of production on the 96xx model line is as follows:

December 31, 2002: 9601, 9640, 9641, 9660, 9661

January 17, 2003: 9600, 9610, 9620, 9650, 9670

These dates should be used as a general guideline. Please keep in mind that all models listed above will be available as supplies last. Triton does not guarantee that all the models listed above will be available up to the dates listed.

As always, Triton will continue to provide support on the 96xx model line for a period of 5 years from the end-of-life dates listed above.
